AI systems built to hold up in production.

Most AI projects do not fail because the model is wrong. They stall between a demo that works and a system a business can actually depend on. Bose AI is an independent consulting practice that closes that gap: architecture, engineering, and the evidence that the thing is doing what you think it is doing.

Why Bose AI

The distance between a working demo and a system you can rely on.

A prototype answers a question once. A production system answers it thousands of times, for people who will act on the answer, under load, on messy real data, and it has to keep doing so when the model changes underneath it. Almost everything hard about applied AI lives in that gap: retrieval that stays grounded, evaluation that means something, cost that does not scale badly, permissions that hold, and a clear account of how anyone would know the system was wrong.

That is the work we do. Not strategy decks, and not a proof of concept that impresses a steering group and never ships. We come in as engineers, we build or fix the thing, and we leave behind a system your team can run and defend.

What we do

Six things we are asked for most.

Engagements are usually a few weeks, sometimes a few months. Every one is scoped so you can stop at the end of it and still be better off than when you started.

AI readiness and strategy

A ranked list of what is worth building, with honest feasibility and a rough cost and value estimate against each. Where the answer is that AI is the wrong tool for a given problem, we say so, and that is often the most valuable line in the report.

Architecture and system design

The design work that decides whether a system survives its second year: retrieval and grounding, context strategy, data flow, model routing and cost tiering, failure behaviour, and how it will be operated once we are gone. Cloud-native, and built to be audited as well as run.

Agentic build and deployment

Agents that act across real business systems, with the checkpoints and permissioning that make autonomy safe rather than alarming. Durable execution, idempotency where it matters, and a clear boundary between what the system decides and what a person signs off.

Assurance and evaluation

How you know the system is right. Evaluation sets built with people who know the domain, grounding and citation so every output can be traced to its source, confidence and materiality signals, and a measurement of the checking and rework a tool actually creates once it is live. Increasingly this is what decides whether a pilot ships.

Data and retrieval engineering

Getting a model to work on your material rather than the internet's: ingestion and OCR of difficult documents, classification, chunking and embedding strategy, hybrid retrieval, and the pipelines that keep it current. This is where most of the accuracy actually comes from.

Embedded engineering and delivery

Hands-on delivery alongside your team, or a full build with a clean handover and the playbooks to run it. Delivered from London, from Bangalore through our partner, or both, depending on the shape of the work.

How we work

Four steps, and you can stop after any of them.

  1. 01

    Orientation call, no charge

Forty-five minutes on what you are building and what is in the way. You get a straight opinion on the call, whether or not anything follows.

  2. 02

    Assessment

One to three weeks. We go through the system, the data and the constraints, and produce a ranked plan with feasibility, effort and risk against each item. Yours to keep and to execute with anyone.

  3. 03

    Build or fix

The engineering. Scoped in short increments with something working at the end of each, so progress is visible rather than reported.

  4. 04

    Handover, or keep going

Documentation, runbooks and the evaluation harness, handed to your team. Or we stay on, embedded, for as long as it is useful.

No lock-in, no retainer you cannot cancel, and no deliverable you cannot use without us.

Partnership

One practice, two countries.

Bose AI works with Carpe Diem AI, our strategic delivery partner in Bangalore, so a client gets a UK contracting entity and governance posture alongside genuine delivery depth in India. Neither side is a subcontractor to the other, and between us the working day runs almost end to end.

The practical effect is that a project does not have to be sized down to fit a single calendar. Where the work needs a team, there is a team. Where it needs a senior architect thinking hard about one problem, it gets that instead.

Mithun Bose

Founder · Bose AI Ltd

He has been building software for twenty-seven years, hands on throughout, across enterprise architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms, data engineering and, for the last several years, AI systems end to end.

He has founded four SaaS businesses and has had successful exits. He is currently also Co-Founder and CTO of Reveal Title, an AI platform for UK property transactions, which is where a lot of the thinking behind this practice was formed: a regulated, document-heavy domain where being confidently wrong is expensive, and where every answer has to be traceable to a source before a professional will put their name to it.

Bose AI exists because that problem is not specific to property law. Any organisation putting AI in front of a consequential decision runs into it. He takes on a small number of engagements where that experience is useful, and he is on every one of them.

Where we are strongest

Regulated, document-heavy, high-consequence.

We work across sectors, and the pattern we know best is the one where an AI system's output feeds a decision somebody is accountable for.

Legal and professional services

Contract, title and case material, and the assurance a regulated professional needs before relying on an output.

Property and real estate

Transaction documents, due diligence and the data behind them.

Financial services and insurance

Document-heavy operations, compliance workflows and model governance.

Government and public sector

High scrutiny, clear audit trails, and the constraints that come with both.

Healthcare and life sciences

Where traceability and human sign-off are not optional.

Software and technology companies

Teams with a working prototype who need it to become a product.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Most are between two weeks and three months. The smallest useful thing we do is a short assessment; the largest is a full build with an embedded team through our Bangalore partner. If a project needs fifty people, we are not the right firm and will say so early.

No. A good part of the work is deciding what actually needs a large language model and what is better served by a smaller model, a classifier, a search index, or ordinary software. Reaching for the largest model available is usually a cost and reliability problem rather than a capability one.

Mithun leads every engagement. Where a project needs more hands, capacity comes through Carpe Diem AI in Bangalore, and the two legs work as one team rather than as a chain of subcontractors.

Yes, and that is usually the better arrangement. We work alongside in-house engineers, and the aim is that they can run and extend the system without us.

We work to whatever your data protection posture requires, including data residency constraints, in-country hosting and processing agreements. If you operate somewhere with specific residency rules, raise it in the first conversation rather than at contract stage: it can change the architecture.

The first conversation is forty-five minutes and costs nothing. Bring the system, the constraint or the half-formed idea, and you will get a straight answer on whether it is worth building and what it would take.
